Yesterday (or maybe two days ago by the time many of you see this in your email box) I wrote a blog post entitled "A very quick & easy $40 (or lots more?!) via Rakuten". As mentioned at that time, it was a "ending today" deal. Or at least I noted that the deal would not be as good going forward. Today we found out that the new/ongoing version of the deal is for a $30 bonus, instead of $40, for both the person who signs up and the person referring. STILL A GOOD DEAL, if you didn't take advantage of it before. So click on that link up above and read yesterday's post, if you haven't already. Simply replace "$40" with "$30" as you're reading it (I'm going to leave it as-is for the sake of posterity and simplicity). There's always a chance it could go back up to $40 again, but I think that has only ever happened a few times (for a few days) in the past. $30 is generally about as generous as they usually are, and it sometimes goes lower.
