Two great TV deals - choose your size: 48-inch (1080p) or 65-inch (4k)!!

There's probably going to be a lot of great TV deals between now and Christmas, but here's a few worth considering.  Read on ...

Full disclosure, I found these deals HERE (same TV on Amazon HERE) and HERE (same TV on Amazon HERE) on SlickDeals.  My friend Shawn at Miles to Memories also tipped me off.

As you will see (above), the 48-inch Vizio TV sells for $400 on Amazon (I'll tell you how to get it for possibly as low as ~$150!), and the 65-inch Samsung TV sells for over $1300 on Amazon (I'll tell you how to get it for possibly as low as ~$670).

Vizio 48" 1080p TV

The first deal (linked above) shows you how to buy the 48-inch TV for $430 from Dell, and get a $150 Dell ePromo gift certificate.  So if you value the ePromo card at face value, you're getting the TV for $280 (net price).  But you can do better than that.  Shop through MrRebates or Ebates and you can earn 10% cash back (if you're a new MrRebates user, I'll earn 2% on your purchase too!).  So that's another $43 you'll be getting back.  That takes you down to just under $240 (net).  If you happen to have an American Express credit card (or a friend that has one you could use), Amex currently has a $100 off $599 "Amex Offer" promo with Dell.  So the TV doesn't quite get you up to $600 ($170 short), but if you can find something else to buy at Dell between now and year-end, that would be another $100 off.  (Note that the ePromo card expires in a set amount of time, I think 3 months. And it is difficult or problematic to sell the ePromo card. But if you can't use it yourself, perhaps you can find a friend and sell it to them at a nice discount.)

Also note that if you have a Discover card and signed up during the "double all rewards" promo (still going on, as you can read about HERE), another option would be to use the Discover Deals shopping portal (now requires you to pay with your Discover card) and earn 10% back.  And that 10% will be doubled after 12-months.  That's almost as good (and maybe "cleaner") than using the Amex Offer.

Samsung 65" 4k TV

The second deal (linked above) shows you how to buy the 65-inch TV for $1298 from Dell, and get a $300 Dell ePromo gift certificate.  So if you value the ePromo card at face value, you're getting the TV for $998 (net price).  But you can do better than that.  Shop through MrRebates or Ebates and you can earn 10% cash back (if you're a new MrRebates user, I'll earn 2% on your purchase too!).  So that's another $130 you'll be getting back.  That takes you down to just under $870 (net).  If you happen to have an American Express credit card (or a friend that has one you could use), Amex currently has a $100 off $599 "Amex Offer" promo with Dell.  I'm pretty sure Dell's website lets you split payment between 2 credit cards, so you could use 2 Amex cards that have the Offer, giving you another $200 off (down to a net price of ~$670).  (Note that the ePromo card expires in a set amount of time, I think 3 months. And it is difficult or problematic to sell the ePromo card. But if you can't use it yourself, perhaps you can find a friend and sell it to them at a nice discount.)

Again, note that if you have a Discover card and signed up during the "double all rewards" promo (still going on, as you can read about HERE), another option would be to use the Discover Deals shopping portal (now requires you to pay with your Discover card) and earn 10% back.  And that 10% will be doubled after 12-months.  That's almost as good (but not quite in this case) as using 2 cards with the Amex Offer.
