Free and unlimited coffee/tea/soda/juice drinks for 3 months at Panera! (sign-up thru tomorrow, 5/6, I think!)

If you have a Panera Bread location nearby, this is a great deal. Read on for more details ...

Who wouldn't want free drinks for three months?!

This deal has been around for a while, but: a) I haven't written about it yet, and b) I believe it is expiring (need to sign-up online by) tomorrow (May 6th).

In a nutshell,  you can go to Panera as often as you like for the next few months and get a variety** of drinks for free. The only limitation appears to be that you have to space out your drinks by 2 hours, unless you are hanging out in their store - in which case refills are free.  **Of course, not everything on the beverage menu is included, such as premium coffee drinks being excluded, but there is a pretty good selection. You will see on the beverage menu which items are part of the subscription.

UPDATE: you may have to not only sign up by May 6th, but also place your first order. I'm not certain about that (someone let me know if you are!). But if you're signing up last-minute, be sure to place a "free drink" order ASAP today. You might even be able to get away with placing one and not picking it up. (Don't worry, it won't go to waste. If you order a Pepsi, they won't fill the cup ahead of time. They just hand you and empty cup to fill up yourself when you arrive.) But, again, I'm not sure.

Note this subscription is usually $10.99/month. And you will be agreeing to begin paying that amount as soon as this free trial is over. But you can "cancel at anytime" if you're not interested during/after the trial.

If you haven't previously signed up for a Panera rewards account (which you need to do before you sign up for the subscription), you will also get a "free bakery item" put on your account. I highly recommend the "kitchen sink" cookie (usually $4.99).

who says there's no free "lunch"?!

The promo seems to indicate that the "free drinks" (subscription is good through July 4th), but under the "MyPanera Subscriptions" part of my account, it appears that my first monthly charge won't be until early August. Thus, this appears to be 3 months free.

Whether or not this makes sense for you at $10.99/month (why wouldn't it for FREE for 3 months?) will probably depend on how convenient the Panera locations are for you ... oh, and if you like their "free" drinks.

Enjoy!
